Judge Napolitano is a strong believer in the orthodox interpretation of the constitution, stating that the Federal government has a very limited set of powers, that it is over reaching, and that the Bill of Rights limits its powers and authority in all circumstances.
There is a Republican branch that likes war and deficits and assaulting civil liberties. There is a Democratic branch that likes welfare and taxes and assaulting commercial liberties. Judge Napolitano
There is much debate as to the position that Judge Napolitano should be drafted to! It is our position that we should let Judge Napolitano decide what he is ready for, but here are some thoughts on the subject:
As Governor of New Jersey the upside is that he could take nullification to a new level, the downside is it will be a very tough and costly race.
In 2014 a very key Senate seat being held by Frank Lautenberg (D) is up for grabs in New Jersey. We view this as an amazing opportunity. Not only will we have the ability to take another seat away from the democrats, but we are able to fill it with a beloved hero of New Jersey, and a champion of constitutional law and free market capitalism.
We fell in love with Judge Andrew Napolitano while watching him educate the masses on Freedom Watch, a program that aired daily on Fox Business Channel. There he discussed his views on the limited power of government and promoted economic philosophies to the like of Friedrich Hayek, Milton Friedman and of course our favorite, the great Ludwig Von Mises.
